KEC specializes in producing gas compression systems utilizing screw type compressors. Available range of swept volumes is 60-45,000 ACFM. Discharge pressure up to 1500 PSIG and suction pressure up to 800 PSIG with no limit of pressure ratio is available in single or two stage frames. In many successful applications, compressor discharge temperature is controlled above the water or hydro carbon dew point at the design discharge pressure to effectively compress water saturated corrosive gas streams in the most reliable and efficient manners. On-land and off-shore vapor recovery units, sour gas streams, wet hydrogen chloride, carbon dioxide and methyl chloride gas streams are some of the our most notable compression applications.

Gas Turbine Booster Compressors |
KEC is the leading provider of oil injected screw type fuel gas compressors for all gas turbines (1-400 MW). These high pressure systems boost the varying pipeline pressure of Natural Gas to match the constant inlet pressure requirements of gas turbines while saving power under all pressure fluctuations or turbine load changes. This characteristic drastically reduces operating expenses and represents huge savings for power producers. It is unavailable in competitive equipment, and we are convinced that such compressors will become the de facto standard for fuel gas boosters. |

Process Refrigeration Systems |
Process refrigeration system KEC since its inception is actively involved in designing and building complete skid mounted refrigeration systems. Primary compressors have been oil injected screw type for 100-2000 T.R. systems and reciprocating type for systems under 100 tons. R-22, R-134a, R-717 and R-1270 have been the most commonly used refrigerant. Custom designed process refrigeration systems furnished by KEC are designed and built along the same lines as the process gas compressors, oil separation systems and lube oil consoles following the API standards and the most stringent codes and norms of the petro-chemical |

Finite Oil Seperation Systems |
KEC is frequently called upon to provide finite oil separation systems for the removal of oil from the compressed gas streams.
Such systems, with no design pressure limits, are installed downstream of the lubricated reciprocating or oil flooded screw compressors, and guaranteed oil carry over limits of 1.0 PPBW are not uncommon. Finite oil separation systems with oil carry over restricted to 50 PPBW or below are furnished with activated charcoal adsorbers in addition to three successive stages of coalescing. State of the art coalescers, separators and filters are used in our systems. Activated charcoal adsorbers, of proven design, remove any vapor phase oil from the compressed gas streams. |
